Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Scan2Call BD (scan2call.com.bd), a smart QR tag service operated in Bangladesh. (TODO: insert registered company name before launch.) By creating an account, purchasing a tag, or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering, including a valid Bangladeshi mobile number (+8801XXXXXXXXX) verified by SMS code. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Tags, Pricing, and Renewals

QR tags are paid products with a validity period purchased in whole years. Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and may change; renewals are charged at the renewal price shown on your tag at the time of renewal.

When a tag expires it stops relaying contact until renewed. If you enable auto-renewal, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for each renewal period until you turn auto-renewal off.

4. Payments, Delivery, and Refunds

Payments are processed securely by SSLCommerz. Physical products are delivered to the address you provide at checkout by our courier partners. Refunds and returns are handled under our Refund & Return Policy (see the footer); nothing in these terms limits any non-excludable rights you have under the consumer protection laws of Bangladesh.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use the anonymous relay to harass, threaten, or spam any person.
• Attempt to unmask the identity or contact details of a finder or owner.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access it by any means other than the interfaces we provide.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

The Scan2Call name, logo, website, and software are owned by the operating company or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the platform except as permitted by law. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as tag photos) and grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to provide the service.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of Bangladesh that cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected tag or service in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from a lost item not being recovered.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or abuse the relay. On termination, unexpired paid tag time is not refunded except where required by law or by our Refund & Return Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
